Never complain to a professor about how busy you are. 4. Learn how to attach a file. 5. A professor is not your administrative assistant. 6. Make an extra effort. 7. Become aware of your preconceived ideas about people and seek to eradicate them. (Just because your prof is a mid-40s woman doesn't mean she's a surrogate mom) It's a really good read.
